Cookie Policy

We use only two groups of cookies: necessary ones to run the site and — strictly with your consent — analytics ones to measure traffic. No advertising or profiling cookies.

Necessary cookies

• Storing your consent choice (the zm_consent cookie) — so the banner doesn’t keep asking. Valid for 1 year, shared with the quiz too (kviz.zachranmodrou.cz).
• Technical items for smooth display. They need no consent and are not used for tracking.

Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 (only with consent)

For anonymous traffic measurement we use Google Analytics 4. It runs via Google Consent Mode v2: by default analytics is off (analytics_storage: denied) and only activates when you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Until you consent, GA stores no cookies and sends no identifiable data.

• Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC.
• Cookies _ga, _ga_* — distinguishing sessions and visitors.
• GA4 data retention: 14 months.

How to change consent

You can change your choice anytime — open the banner with the Cookie settings button (also in the footer of every page). You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; it won’t limit the site’s functionality.
